With the GT Falcon now long gone the XD Falcon range included the highly spec'd XD Fairmont Ghia ESP which really was a GT in sheep's clothing. This beast could be optioned with the Aussie manufactured 351 Cleveland, a choice of FMX automatic or 4 speed manual gearboxes, those super sexy Scheel sports seats and 15" Bathurst Globe wheels. For sale from Beacon Hill, NSW is this stunning low mileage example presented in Silver Grey metallic paint.

Repainted in 2007 and mechanically rebuilt at the same time with around 6,000 km on the clock since, this XD Fairmont Ghia ESP has clocked up only 156,960 km from new. The XD drives strong and has been mechanically enhanced with a 750 Vac sec Holley carby, Edlebrock Performer manifold and twin thermo fans. All matching numbers with that sweet sounding 351 Cleveland burbling along putting the power down through the fully serviced FMX gearbox and the mild sports dual exhaust that produces a lovely good old V8 burble.

The paint is excellent and the body is rust and damage free. The interior is impressive being all day one and in exceptional condition from those wonderful wool blend tiger patterned cloth Scheel sports seats, door cards, hood lining and carpets.

The XD is optioned with factory working A/C (just re-gassed), power steering, power windows and radio/cassette. Excellent original boot carpet, original spare wheel and original set of tools. Riding on 15" Bathurst Globe wheels with excellent rubber 225/60/15 all round. Originally sold through Westline Ford, Belmore, NSW.
