1978 FORD FAIRLANE ZH

For sale is my 1978 ZH Ford Fairlane 500.

Powered by the desirable combination of a matching numbers 5.8 litre/351 cubic inch Cleveland V8 engine with a three-speed FMX automatic transmission and a 9 inch LSD.

Just under 230,000km travelled, recommissioned in early 2022 after being off the road for more than a decade.

Work completed in the past 1000km includes:

Front and rear brakes (rotors, pads and lines), front suspension bushes, fuel pump and filter, Century battery, extractors, dual 2.5 inch exhaust system fitted by Jack Beedhams, power steering lines, radiator flush and hoses, spark plugs and leads.

There are a few things needing to be addressed to bring it up to show condition, such as a rusted passenger door (less damaged door include), dented panels with paint requiring repair, minor engine oil leak, rear main seal suspected, air conditioning not working.

Car currently has five months of registration, sale can include personalised number plates.
