I dont buy cars off the internet; thats the reason I had this 1972 Camaro built from scratch in Perth to my specifications. I wanted to make sure it was done right which is rare these days. The builder I used has won best of show awards for his 1970 Chevelle and 1968 Camaro. I bought this California car because it was already in Perth and my builder had worked on it before and knew it was straight and had never been hit. I inherited the car with a 350 crate motor and a 4 speed. We took every mechanical piece off this car and back down to a bare shell. From front to back we added everything wed need to make a great pro-touring car for me to drive on the week-ends. We start with a Browns radiator, Flaming River rack, brand new 502 crate motor with aluminium heads, hydraulic cam, forged pistons, steel crank, MSD ignition, Hedman headers into 3-inch system, DSE front suspension, DSE chassis connectors, Wilwood brakes all 4 corners, Koni shocks, built manualized turbo-400 to handle 1,000 horsepower, 2,800 stall converter, B&M shifter, Ford 9-inch with Truetrac centre built to handle 1,000 horsepower, DSE rear springs, Dakota Digital gauges, Sparco seats, and full radar detection front and back. This car is only driven in good weather on the week-ends, never in the rain, never been drag raced or autocrossed. I have 100 build photos, videos, and 2 full binders with all receipts totalling over $200,000 as well as all the manuals from all the parts in the car. I have taken all the worry out of buying a great pro-touring second generation Camaro. Lives in an enclosed garage with dust seals, always covered and always with a trickle charger. I have a 1965 C-10 being built as a daily-driver and need to make room in my garage. This is a great car
