A BRITISH RACING GREEN 100 MPH CLASSIC
Introduced in August 1955, and Built for 12 Months, Only 3924 BN2's were Built, Just 26.85% of Austin Healey 100 production. The Second Generation Austin Healey 100 was Upgraded with Austin's New 4 Speed Gearbox, More Efficient Front Drum Brakes and Benefited from All the Production Upgrades Made Throughout the BN1's Production, Including, but Not Limited To the Hypoid Differential with 5 Stud Rear Axles, that was Strong Enough to be Retained for the Entire Remaining Austin Healey Line Up.
Imported into Australia by The Healey Factory, and Sold in 1992 as a Restoration Project with the Chassis Restored, the Outer Panels Roughed & Painted Internally, this BN2 Subsequently Underwent a Comprehensive Rebuild and Restoration, and as a result the '100' Presents Exceedingly Well Nearly 30 Years On!
Finished in Dark British Racing Green with Sparkling Chrome Wire Wheels and a Black Interior Featuring Dark Green Piped, Black Leather Seats, RPM Harness Seat Belts and a Moto-Lita Woodrim Steering Wheel this BN2 Looks Sleek and Stylish.
In Addition to the Black Soft Top, which has been made Removable, the BN2 Also Sports a Cream Fibreglass Hardtop, Providing Both a Lovely Contrast to the Dark British Racing Green Paintwork, and a More Secure Cabin for the Winter Months.
