This Austin Seven Mini De-Luxe was built on 28th September 1959. Just one month after the Mini was launched to the public on 26th August 1959.

One family ownership for over 48 years. It was purchased by the seller's mother in October 1971 and registered to her on 3rd November 1971. The Mini is still registered at the same address 48 years later! Very rare to find a 1959 Mini with such long and continuous family ownership.

Barn stored since 2008 when it was last used on the road. The last MOT and tax expired in 2009 and the engine was last run in about 2010.

In unrestored and very sound condition. The floors appear totally solid with no rot found anywhere. After years of storage it will need properly recommissioning but would then make a great car in very original condition. Or if you prefer to restore it to new condition then this is an ideal candidate as it doesn't need extensive welding and new panels like most examples I have seen.

There is a British Motor Heritage Certificate that confirms all the numbers and specification match the original build details.

Sadly now for sale as the barn it is stored in is due for demolition.

Known to the 1959 Mini Register. They have valued the car and wrote....

"I think you would be surprised by the interest in you car, it is a very rare original survivor with long family ownership. I would personally rather have you car than an equivalent restored car. I think £20,000 is a cautious valuation and like it would sell for more than that on the open market".

Very rare opportunity to buy a Mini from the first year of production, and one with such long family ownership.

If you are interested in becoming the new owner of this Mini please email me. I have numerous pictures of the car that I can send you.
