Produced From May 1972 July 1973 the Aston Martin Vantage was a Very Limited Release, Featuring the DBS's Discontinued, Tadek Marek Designed, Iconic, DOHC Six Cylinder Engine fitted to the later DBS V8 Bodies.
All of the 70 Vantages Produced were Uprated from Factory to Vantage Specification, Including Triple 45DCOE Weber Carburettors, the Highest Specification that the 4L Engine had Ever Been Offered. Combined with the DBS V8's Later 'Dog Leg' 5 Speed ZF Manual Gearbox, these Vantages were the Final Evolution of the Classic Wire Wheeled, Six Cylinder Aston!
This Factory Original, 'Yeoman Red Metallic' Vantage with Matching Black Leather Interior was Imported from the UK in 2012 by its Australian Expat Owner who had Purchased the Aston at a UK Classic Car Auction late in 2011.
Supported by a Comprehensive History File Including a Heritage Certificate, Import Approval Documentation, as well as Receipts and Photographs Confirming Service, Maintenance and Repair work carried out Since the Late 80's.
At a Time Unconfirmed, the Original Engine '400/4925/SVC' was Replaced with a New, Unassigned Unit, Dated as a 1965 DB5 Example. The DB5 Engine '400/1795' has been Fitted with a Gas Flowed & Unleaded Petrol Modified Cylinder Head, Modified Inlet Camshaft and Triple Italian 45DCOE Weber Carburettors.
