AUSTRALIAN V12 CONVERTIBLE - VERY LOW KM
The Aston Martin name has been synonymous with performance and style from their inception in 1913 and the DB7 V12 Vantage Volante fits that brief perfectly. The DB7 was engineered in Oxfordshire, by Tom Walkinshaw Racing on behalf of Aston Martin and was produced between 1994 and 2004. Originally only a coupe body was available, until the release of the convertible 'Volante' in 1996 after strong customer demand.
Both the coupe and Volante were initially powered by a supercharged straight 6 cylinder engine producing 320 BHP, and in 1999 the new DB7 V12 Vantage was introduced at the North American International Motor Show in Detroit. The new 48 valve DOHC V12 produced 420 BHP at 6000RPM providing stunning performance with a claimed top speed of 185 MPH and 0 to 60 MPH in 4.9 seconds. With the release of the new V12 Vantage, orders for the supercharged 6 cylinder engined cars decreased significantly, so their production stopped in mid 1999.
This stunning Australian Delivered, Silver V12 Vantage Volante has travelled just over 32,000km which is reflected in its excellent presentation both inside and out. The interior is trimmed in a complementary combination of Beige and Burgundy with beautiful timber veneer highlights in the centre console, door trims and dash top.
