Well on the way to a George F rep
Remember George Fury? You should. He was the local driving talent who helped shoot Nissan/Datsun to the front of the grid in local touring car racing, and rallying, and made it a force to be reckoned with.
Perhaps his most famous mount was the Group C Nissan Bluebird turbo from the 1983 season. Not so long ago, he was re-united with that car and you can find the story and video here.
Which brings us to the car you see here, a 1981 910 that is well on the way to becoming a Fury tribute, with flares, paint and wide wheels. The seller reckons the icing on the cake would be a readily-available aftermarket turbo kit.
As it stands this car has a known history, running an L20B 2.0lt engine with four-speed manual. It’s available in Brisbane and is on the market via Australian Muscle Car Sales for $19,000.
