2021 Market Review - Citroen 1957-2006
‘Quirky’ is a term applied generally to the Citroen range but there is no logical reason why a rudimentary 2CV should cost more than sophisticated DS models.
Almost all the 2CVs here are UK imports; some with flashy paint and fancy seats and they all struggle to reach 100km/h. Typical cars cost $25,000 and similar money buys a roomy D Special with 160km/h available.
Jump to $50,000 for excellent examples of the sumptuous DS23 Pallas or Safari wagon. CX models come in Super and Pallas trim, as a wagon or Turbo in Euro spec but remain mostly under $20,000.
Scarce SM coupes can exceed $100,000 and are our most expensive Citroen, with the more recent Xsara among the cheapest.
