Chrysler Charger/Centura/Drifter Van 1971-1978 – 2022 Market Review

2022 Aussie Family & Sports Car Market Review - Chrysler Charger/Centura/Drifter Van 1971-1978

Recent sales confirm that Six Pack and other performance Chargers remain at more than $100,000 and those prices continue to influence lesser versions.

Above $50,000 is possible for a six-cylinder base model, with 4.3-litre XLs reaching $65,000 before the money sought – and sometimes paid – for 770s climbs past $80,000.

Special editions like the White Knight and Sportsman can bring more. One for enthusiasts of Aussie culture to chase is the Drifter van which sold briefly and only as a CL. These could also reach $100,000.

Not so the French-sourced Centura, which with Hemi six engines added are scarce as well. These in good condition still sell for less than $25,000, however a well-kept original could add $10K to that.

Charger/XL VH-VK $59,270 (10)

Charger CL $85,500 (8)

Charger 770 $82,095 (8)

Centura 3.5/4.0 $21,640 (7)

Drifter $76,165 (3)
