Chicane Auctions continued to forge ahead with strong results in its May Auction event, achieving a high overall clearance rate underpinned by its long-standing philosophy of quality over quantity.
Despite a market that remains selective, buyers responded positively to well-presented, desirable collector vehicles with strong appeal.
Standout results included a right-hand-drive 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, a beautifully restored Holden HZ GTS, a highly presented Ford Falcon XR 500, and an exceptional 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione 1.
These cars, together with a range of other successful sales, demonstrated that quality vehicles continue to attract enthusiastic bidding and strong buyer engagement from collectors.
Chicane’s view is that good cars will always sell well, regardless of broader market conditions.
Looking ahead, Chicane Auctions is preparing for its July Auction, which will feature another carefully curated selection of collector vehicles spanning Australian muscle, European classics and significant enthusiast cars.
Early consignments already indicate another diverse and high-quality catalogue, including a hand-built Shelby Daytona Replica, continuing the company’s commitment to presenting quality over quantity.
