Good value on offer with the this mid-sized Chev
Chevrolet Camaro 1967-1981
Stability across the gamut of early Camaro values confirms that buyers and sellers are satisfied by their encounters with General Motors’ Pony Car.
1968-72 coupes remain in the vicinity of $50,000, with small-block convertibles $10-15,000 more expensive.
Early 302-engined Z28s are $100,000+.
Asking prices for SS396 cars were down a bit on previous years but that doesn’t necessarily denote a trend.
When the Camaro was restyled and upsized in the 1970s performance wilted.
Except for 1972-73 Z28s which can exceed $50,000, there isn’t a lot of money around for 1970s Camaros and $30,000 will buy an outstanding 350-engined car.
