2021 Market Review - Chevrolet 1920-1954
With agencies for Chevrolet in every major Australian town it isn’t hard to see why so many were sold and survival rates for early versions are high.
Prices asked for vintage-era cars don’t reflect demand we suspect and won’t remain at these levels for very long. Early 1930s cars, especially open-top Roadsters and Phaetons that have escaped the hot-rodders’ eye, are worth more than most other models and late-1930s coupes in good condition at around $40,000 offer value.
Sedans built locally from the late-1930s until 1954 appeal as family classics and get along reasonably well in open going. Even the old 1930s Master model will manage 100km/h.
