Chevrolet 1920-1954 – 2020 Market Review

Chevrolet 1920-1954 market review 2020

Just how many early Chevrolets have sold recently is hard to know but asking prices have remained consistent since 2018 and in line with US auction results. Spanning more than 30 years of production, this segment of Chev history covers a wide range of models; all of them predating the brand’s introduction of V8 engines.

Early 1930s Tourers can reach $50,000, however the majority of cars from this era will be 1930-40s Holden-bodied sedans selling at around $20,000.

Locally-built sedans are gaining value and some make $30,000. Fully-imported, pre-1940s coupes are scarce and can cost $50,000+.

Sedan/Tourer 1920-29 $20,395 [12]

Sedan/Tourer 1930-35 $33,800 [9]

Sedan 1936-48 $26,980 [9]

Coupe 1936-48 $51,140 [6]

Sedan 1949-54 $37,990 [15]
