2022 Market Review - Honda NSX/S2000/Legend/Acty 1984-2006

Local sales of the Honda NSX were dismal when new and we can’t see vendors who might be testing the current market with $200,000 cars doing any better. Even at $120K for early ones, the flat-six Honda could be difficult to shift. S2000 Roadsters with a marvellous chassis and engine are a different tale though and climbing in price.

Five years ago, an excellent 1998-2001 car would sell for less than $25,000 but today they top $40,000. V6 Legends suffered engine sludging issues when new and still need frequent oil changes but are a lot of car for $10,000.

Care of another kind is required if you buy a miniature ACTY ute or van, which were designed for narrow city lanes not wide-open Aussie spaces. Prices for recent arrivals have topped $10,000 but just a minor bump can write them off or tip them over.

S2000 1998-2000 $45,500 (11)

S2000 2001-06 $47,300 (6)

NSX 1990-93 $136,935 (10)

NSX 1994-98 $268,815 (2)

Acty 4WD Van/Pickup $10,275 (10)

Legend Coupe $9195 (7)
