2021 Market Review - Chevrolet Corvette 1984-2011

With pre-1993 Corvettes now eligible for full LHD registration, expect to see even more of these arriving from the USA and selling in the sub-$35,000 price range.

Manual cars built after 1987 had six-speed ZF gearboxes and from 1990, buyers could order a 300kW ZR1 performance package. These are very rare and now can cost around $70,000. The C5 model change in 1997 brought a slick new shape and mechanical benefits but these are costly cars to convert to RHD and not common in this country.

Prices are up by 20 percent on 2019 which could prompt some buyers to wonder if they wouldn’t be better off spending $30K more on a low-km example of the thoroughly modern and more exciting C6.

Coupe 1984-89 $34,265 [32]

Coupe/Roadster 1990-96 $36,565 [19]

Coupe/Roadster 1997-06 $86,230 [6]

Coupe/Roadster 2007-11 $116,335 [3]
