2021 Market Review - Mercedes-Benz 300-560 Sedan/Coupe 1987-2006

Many interesting models here and most will cost $20,000 or less. At this age they still deal with frequent use, providing you keep up with preventive maintenance.

History shows that two-door Benzes have a better shot at collector success, so hooking up with a low-km, 24V version of the 300CE at around $20,000 is worth a shot. 420SE and 560SEL sedans and coupes are climbing in value but may never match their original new-car cost.

Also relatively cheap are scarce E220 Cabriolets and older C32/36 sedans. Even high-performance E63s today cost a quarter of their new price.

300CE 1988-93 $19,410 [8]

420SE/SEL 1987-90 $23,575 [9]

560SEC $45,225 [6]

E220 Cabrio $24,360 [5]

C32/C36 $22,875 [4]

E63 2002-09 $50,445 [19]
