Numbers of Shelby-enhanced Mustangs in our market remain minimal with few additional cars being imported. We only saw two confirmed Australian sales during our survey period: an early GT350 at close to $200,000 and a later one at $80,000 less.
The big money [$250,000+] is in 1967-68 GT500s, KRs and Hertz GT350s.
Verified lightweight GT350 race cars can bring millions on the world market while the handful of early 350GTs with Paxton superchargers better US$500,000.
The cheapest route to Shelby ownership will be a 1969-70 GT350 coupe which pop up occasionally in the A$110-140,000 price bracket.
