HSV Clubsport/GTS Y-E 2002-10 - market review 2017-18
In the market for an HSV? Here are some tips
HSV Clubsport/GTS Y-E 2002-10
HSVs from early in the 21st Century still deliver as everyday transport and there are sufficient examples of most versions available to meet demand.
Values continue to slide in line with normal depreciation with the notable exception being VY-Z Clubsports which improved a little on 2016.
Best buying in an unpredictable market would be a Y Series GTS which is scarce [just 125 in total made] and costs around the same as a more common VX version.
Both have 300kW LS2 engines and when new cost more than $90,000.
‘E’ series cars are too common to have any collector appeal as yet and expensive when considering other choices in the $25-35,000 price range.
VY-Z Clubsport $20,800 [26]
Clubsport E 2006-08 $29,315 [48]
GTS Y $29,000 [3]
GTS E 2006-08 $32,070 [18]
