Camaros can be very affordable.

Getting into a Chev coupe needn't cost a bomb.
Chevrolet Camaro 1982-2010
Camaros built and imported during the 1980s and 90s offer US-style motoring at affordable prices.
1980s convertibles aren’t common in Australia but remain less expensive than similar cars in the USA.
1990s models are holding mid-$20,000 values but so few appear in the market that predicting where values might head is hard.
Recent, more advanced and powerful Camaros are subject to rampant depreciation so owning one has to be a long-term prospect.
6.2-litre SS models being sold new at $90,000-110,000 are going to seriously impact the retained values of 5-10 year-old cars.
Camaro V8 1982-92 $14,115 [12]
Camaro V8 Conv. 1987-92 $15,930 [3]
Camaro V8 1994-2002 $25,250 [2]
Camaro SS 2007-10 $72,915 [8]
