Monaro could mean either a two- or four-door over this broad spectrum of cars, though it's the early coupes that are worth serious money.

Holden Monaro HK-HG V8/GTS327/GTS350
It took til late 2016 For a genuine HT GTS350 Monaro to show up for sale, and it went at auction for $225,000.
An HK327 did make $96,000 in 2015.
Traditionally HGs with the same basic engine bring less than the HT350s so it was good to see one sell for a healthy $75,000.
When considering HK-HG V8s we have split the offerings into factory authentic cars and those that have received a V8 later in life.
Some genuine V8s were offered above $100,000, which was $20-30,000 too high in this market but $50,000 for a 186 converted to V8 using a 308 or stock 350 is okay though.
HK-HG Monaro GTS V8 $87,270 [7]
HK-HG V8 (Non-Orig) $57,200 [5]
HK Monaro GTS327 $96,000 [1]
HT Monaro GTS350 $225,000 [1]
HG Monaro GTS350 $69,000 [2]
Holden Monaro GTS HQ-HZ
HQ Monaros were designed almost 50 years ago yet they remain among the best-looking automotive shapes of any era.
Values for two- and four-door versions have climbed steadily over the last five years and top class 5.0-litre coupes can now exceed $70,000.
Genuine GTS350s are rarely seen but would be within $100,000 these days.
The final-series HZ didn’t have the performance of earlier sedans but compensated via improved handling and all-disc brakes.
In decent condition these make $30,000 or $10,000 less than an HQ four-door.
The flashy HX LE doesn’t rate as a performance car but they are still unique and prices keep climbing.
HQ-HZ Monaro/GTS Sedan $36,945 [18]
HQ-HJ Monaro GTS Coupe $60,415 [6]
Monaro HQ-HJ GTS350 $79,000 [2]
HX LE Coupe $57,000 [2]
