There is a lot of cheap performance to be had in this Ford range.

Ford Falcon EL GT

In 1975 when Ford said there would never be another Falcon GT, people still didn't flock to buy and squirrel away an XB.

No one was therefore surprised when the 25th Anniversary EB didnt sell well when new or set resale markets alight.

Five years later, reaction to the 30th Anniversary EL GT was similar and both cars still sit well below their original prices.

Growing demand for the scarce ED Sprint is helping improve prices but these are also a cheap car.

Revival of the Sprint name for 2016 may help. EB S-Pack V8s are significant cars but disappearing because hardly anyone recognises that.

Later ED-EL V8s have only 3kW more than an XR6 but sound better.

Model Value Actual Sales
EB GT $26,150 [5]
EL GT $38,455 [12]
ED XR8 SPRINT $16,500 [5]
EB S-V8 $4715 [6]
ED-EL XR8 $7240 [18]

Values from 2015-16. Concours cars will fetch a premium.
