It’s not often you get to hear it from the source, but we recently got former Holden racing boss Joe Felice to talk us through the wild and woolly early days of the team, and the role played by this Monaro.
Shared with dealer and mentor Des West, the car scored well and – after being in the hands of a few owners – has been restored to its former glory. It also gave a then very young Peter Brock his first mainstream tilt at Bathurst.
