Bob Jane Holden HQ up for auction

One of the most recognisable race cars ever produced in this country, the Bob Jane HQ Monaro, is coming up for auction at Graysonline on July 26-31

The car graced our cover in April 2015, when John Bowe hopped aboard for a spin. The Chev-powered car was built for Jane as a replacement for his successful Camaros, with John Sheppard and Pat Purcell doing the honours.

It’s been pampered in its semi-retirement years, having undergone a significant amount of restoration.

The same auction also features the prototype Holden Mobil Trial car from 1995.

Grays meanwhile has added significant horsepower to its classic car arm, with Bill Freeman and Rian Gaffy joining the crew, from a rival company. See graysonline.com.
