A9X hatchback stars
Tonight’s Shannons Sydney auction pulled some healthy numbers for sellers, with strong interest shown across the range.
Top bid for the night was $595,000 for a Ferrari Dino (lot 71), however this was below reserve.
Meanwhile a Torana A9X hatchback (lot 70) pulled a very solid $275,000.
An exceptional survivor one-owner HK Monaro (lot 68), with 186ci six and auto, pulled $86,000 a lot more than it cost new, even allowing for inflation.
Interest in good RX-7 Mazdas continues unabated, with an SP (lot 69) selling for a hefty $112,000.
Numberplates also scored well, with very solid prices.
