1990 Audi Quattro 20V

After intense bidding this Lago Blue Audi Quattro 20V, with 77,000kms on the clock set a world record for the model at Classic Cars recent online auction. A landmark model for the Ingolstadt brand, the Quattro rewrote the rule book as a road and rally car. This one sold with its original dealer plates and sticker and prior to it selling was garaged for 15 years before a mechanical recommissioning. Being the first of the breed the Quattro remains highly desirable ands sought by collectors.

1978 Ford Falcon XC Cobra

Just confirming that local Ford hardtops are now seriously valuable cars was a recent aution by Graysonl;ine,. It had several examples of the breed, including this, number 260 of the 400 specials built to use up the last of the body shells.
It looked like a solid example. This one was in fact a 4.9 four-speed though badged as a 5.8, It had all the right numbers and rewarded the owner with a big result.

1999 Shelby Series 1

Despite being established in the 1960s this was Shelby’s first ground-up design. It fulfilled a lifelong dream of the legendary Texan to create a high performance roadster to his design and spec. Up front is a 4.0lt Oldsmobile V8. Zero to 100km/h takes a shade over four seconds, making it a true supercar. Making it super rare is a build run of 249 units. This one has covered just 6875kms.

If you were buying a car based on grunt this German juggernaut is up there. The brawny 6.0-litre twin-turbo 445kW V12 engine could power a small country and its interior is opulence personified. Since new, its Michelins have carried the big two door 100,000kms and it sold for a quarter of its new price. As you’d expect of this large Stuttgart coupe it’s loaded to the gunwales with tech plus a 360km/h speedo!

Surely the Boss 302 Mustang ranks as one of the all-time great musclecars and this classic Grabber orange with black interior example is offered unreserved.
It was built on 29 December 1969 and features the optional “shaker” bonnet scoop, trademark rear window slats, rear spoiler, AM radio, and Traction-Lok differential, along with Goodyear Polyglas white letter tires on Magnum 500 wheels. Its had an older rotisserie resto and is an excellent opportunity to own a nice piece of Mustang history.
