You’d be taking this straight to the track!
The Ariel Atom is a performance car like few others, and when we say ‘car’, we’re being pretty generous.
Think of the Atom essentially as a superbike that’s grown two more wheels and it bit more scaffolding.
The Atom is also famous for turning Jeremy Clarkson’s face inside-out in an episode of Top Gear.
There have been several iterations and limited-run models of the atom since its inception in 2000, and as a result, there have been a number of different engines utilised across the model range.
These donks have included a 2.0lt, naturally aspirated or supercharged inline four-cylinder made by Honda, a 2.2lt or 2.4lt supercharged inline four made by GM or a 3.0lt V8 that was slotted into the back of the venerable, limited edition Ariel Atom 500.
The shove from these engines is sent to the rear wheels via either a six-speed manual or a six-speed sequential manual, depending on the model.
This particular Ariel Atom is a 300 model with the Honda 2.0lt supercharged inline four-cylinder motor and six-speed manual transmission.
According to the seller, the vehicle has been personally imported from the UK as a track toy and has had 9000 kilometres put on it since the vehicle arrived down under.
The Atom is $90,000 and anyone interested in this track weapon can view the full listing here.
