Holden’s final-gen local Commodore spawned an incredible array of specials over a very short time, not least of which were the HSV hero cars such as the GTS Gen F.
In a piece on the VF generation, Glenn Torrens noted: “The last blast. The end of the line. Introduced in 2013, the VF was a substantial update on VE, with (as had become customary for mid-life updates) significant styling tweaks to the nose, tail and dashboard. VF carried an alloy bonnet and bootlid and substituted alloy for steel in some suspension components to help keep the weight down.”
In this form, the LSA 6.2lt V8 is claiming 430kW (577hp) of power and 740Nm of torque. In this case that’s tied to a six-speed auto transmission.
The main claim to fame for this example is its condition and very low use at 13,517km.
