Luxury V6
Late-model Cadillacs are a rare sight on our roads, as the company hasn’t had an official presence here in recent decades.
That was to change in 2008, however the plans for an Australian presence was canned at the last minute thanks to the looming global financial crisis. The company has this year announced with will be coming to Australia, leading off with electric vehicles.
The CTS range is generally highly regarded. Our review notes: “This is arguably the most dynamic, most agile Cadillac ever built. Its rear-wheel drive Sigma platform has really benefited from thousands of development hours hammering around the Nurburgring. Through the curves, there’s minimum body roll and masses of grip. And with pizza-sized discs at each corner, it stops as well as it goes.”
This example is a right-hand-drive wagon with the company’s 3.0lt V6. It is rear-wheel-drive and comes with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The seller notes it has every imaginable Cadillac luxury and describes it as being similar in size to a Benz C-class. Located in Melbourne, it’s on the market at $49,500.
