2011 Mercedes-Benz E250 – today’s tempter

Turbo convertible

For Mercedes-Benz, the launch of the then new W212 E-class in 2009 marked a reshaping of the line’s image with a more aggressive design ‘language’.

While the styling was updated, the coupe and convertibles (C2017 and A207) ran with the W204 platform. Both four- and two-door lines were produced side-by-side at the Bremen plant.

This example runs a 1.8lt turbo inline four with a seven-speed Tiptronic transmission. Performance claims included a 210km/h top speed and 0-100km/h time of 7.8sec.

It shows 128,000km on the odo and the seller says it is good shape with up-to-date servicing.

It’s with Paradise Garage in Sydney, priced at $32,950.
