Nothing like a Pony car
First unveiled in concept form in 2003 at the North American International Auto Show, the fifth generation of Ford Mustang was built between 2004 and 2014.
There were a myriad of engine choices available over the fifth gen’s decade long existence, and they included a 3.7lt and 4.0lt V6, a 4.6lt and 5.0lt V8 and a 5.4lt and 5.8lt supercharged V8.
Power from this large range of donks was sent to the rear wheels via a number of different gearboxes that comprised a five and six-speed manual from different manufacturers including Tremec and Getrag and a five and six-speed automatic transmission.
The fifth generation ‘Stang was offered to consumers in two body styles from its initial release; a two-door coupe and a two-door convertible.
All-in-all the Mustang was a resounding sales success for the Blue Oval, with roughly 850,000 being sold in its 10 year lifespan in America alone.
This particular Mustang is a 2010 GT model and, according to the seller, has only travelled 25,800 kilometres from new.
The seller adds that the ‘Stang comes with a number of modifications including a Salleen body kit, adjustable suspension all round, Borla exhaust and a Hurst shifter.
