Very well-kept HSV Grange: 5.7lt LS1 V8, auto, 90,092kms, very good condition throughout
HSV’s luxurious WH-generation Grange arrived midway through 1999, based atop the long-wheelbase Statesman platform.
Engine options initially consisted of a supercharged cast-iron 3.8lt V6 or the 5.7lt LS1 V8, both coupled to the four-speed auto as standard. The V6 option was dropped late in 2000.
HSV’s fettling saw the Grange gain a number of upgrades, notably including: HSV’s ‘Prestige Tune’ suspension with Monroe Sensatrac shocks, front and rear anti-roll bars, uprated brakes.
The WH Series II update occurred late in 2001, with new seats, wood/leather steering wheel, even bigger brakes, ten-disc CD changer and rear parking sensors.
Being a younger HSV model, the Grange’s have only recently begun to capture the interest of collectors, with asking prices beginning to creep up across the board.
This Series 1 WH Grange comes to market as build number #219, finished in Amazon Blue Pearl over Taupe leather interior and specified with the 5.7lt LS1.
The sellers assert that the Grange is a well-kept accident-free vehicle showing just 90,092kms travelled with log books.
Presenting very well throughout, the rear seats appear virtually unused, with only slight creasing observed on the front driver seat bolster and some wear on the steering wheel.
You can find the Grange in New South Wales, listed for $24,990.
