2000 Ford Falcon Forte – Todays Tempter

Very cheap Falcon, decent condition for the dollar

This Ford Falcon is part of the AU series that was produced from 1998 to 2002. This particular car is the Forte base model of the car which contains a 4.0lt six-cylinder engine capable of putting out 157kw of power.

Even when new, their oddball styling was divisive. A few years and many memes later they are a unique footnote in Australian Motoring history. This car’s been on the road for over 18 years now and has 259,823 km’s on the clock. In that time it’s also had 3 owners  from new.

It bears an automatic transmission, and also include a few aftermarket upgrades such as air intake, Bluetooth stereo and subwoofer, and a tow bar.

Overall it looks relatively presentable for its age compared to most other AU Falcons out there. It has recently been fitted with new tyres and brakes, and the air con is in working order.

There are reportedly no oil leaks and it also comes with registration and a road worthy certificate. From what we can see in the photos, the paint looks like it is in good condition, however, there may be signs of surface rust in the boot. Interior appears to be pretty clean with little signs of wear and tear in the upholstery, save for a little visible wear on the steering wheel.

You can find this vehicle at Pennant Hills Auto Trader in NSW for $2990.
