1995 Nissan 300ZX Anniversary – today’s tempter

Special edition

Nissan’s Z-series has seen some remarkable cars over time and we reckon this dramatically-styled coupe is one of them.

In a feature on the Z32 series, Cliff Chambers notes: “Americans had been in love with Nissan ‘Z Cars’ ever since the first 2.4-litre model appeared in 1970. Almost 20 years later when the Z32 series showed up it had completely changed. Then again, so had American perceptions of what constituted a ‘sports car’.

“By early 1990 the radically restyled and substantial Nissan made its way to Australia,  with a 166kW, naturally aspirated, 3.0lt V6.”

This edition carries the Steve Millen name and was intended to celebrate 25 years since the launch of the 240Z. The package included unique wheels and body work.

This Australian-delivered car is running a five-speed manual transmission and is showing a relatively low 90,000km on the odo. It’s with Collecting Cars at a buy-it-now price of $40,000.
