Big British bang for not much buck
The Bentley Mulsanne is a sporting luxury sedan that was built between 1980 and 1992 and replaced the outgoing Bentley T2.
Power came from a monolithic 6.75lt V8 that was, at first, only naturally aspirated, however, in 1982 Bentley unveiled the Mulsanne Turbo at the Geneva Motor Show, which utilised the same 6.75lt bent-eight donk plus a turbocharger.
The shove from this gargantuan donk was sent to the Bentley’s rear wheels via a three-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
In 1987 Bentley released the Mulsanne S, a refreshed version of the Mulsanne that featured a redesigned interior and new alloy wheels, as well as a firmer spring and damper rate to tighten up the handling of the 2320kg barge.
This particular Mulsanne is a ’91 S model and, according to the seller, the vehicle is Australian delivered and comes with a full service history.
The opulent British cruiser is $36,950 and anyone interested can view the full listing here.
