1984 Mitsubishi Sigma GK – Todays Tempter

One owner with just 78,926kms on the odo: selling on behalf of 95yr old grandfather

The Sigma Turbo boasts a surprisingly strong following of fans – as we were reminded when we posted a pic of an impossibly clean example at our Rolling 30 event last weekend.

This isn’t a Sigma Turbo, if it was – one of us probably would have bought it by now.

The Sigma once found itself as Australia’s best-selling four-cylinder cars, and was lauded in its day as a good basic but dependable vehicle.

It had a delightful gearbox and in Astron-engine spec, delivered an addictive second rush of power once the carby’s second choke kicked in.

Sigmas survive in small numbers these days, in fact it’s almost an event if you see one in the wild.

And if you owned this impeccable Sigma GK, you could live that event every day.

This GK Sigma has had one owner since new, and has reportedly been garaged for its entire life thus far. It’s got just 78,926kms on the odometer, or just 2255kms per year.

The fantastic blue velour interior looks new, and overall presents as an incredible surviving original Sigma.

The seller states that he is selling the Sigma on behalf of his 95 year old grandfather who has moved into a retirement home.

Registration lasts until September 2019.

Based in Victoria, the car is listed $3,500.
