1983 Alfetta GTV6 – today’s tempter

Alfa Romeo legend

It’s up for debate, but we reckon the Alfetta body in two-door form is one of the best-looking Alfa Romeos ever made. Arguably in the top three.

With the V6 under the snout, they were also quite potent.

As our feature on the series points out: “A tough car that could be made to perform well; GTV6s ran at the pointy end of Australian and European Touring Car events and in 1987 was the last rear-wheel drive car to win the Australian Rally Championship.”

This example has had a considerable amount of work performed on it, including some engine upgrades. A five-speed manual, it’s with Classic Car Market in Queensland, priced at $74,995
