1974 HOLDEN HQ MONARO GTS
Another vehicle that attracted a swarm of bidders was this Monaro in the killer combo of a five-litre V8, M21 four-speed manual and GV2 Salisbury diff.
It has been off the road for 30 years and discovered in a barn in the Illawarra region of NSW. It even has a sought after paint trim combo of Barbados Green with black vinyl. The exterior is free from any significant dents or damage, and the paintwork has very few scratches. It was last registered in 2006 and shows 78,067km on the clock. It went with an original owner’s manual and radio, along with a second set of deep-dish wheels/tyres.

1973 FORD FALCON XA GT – RPO 83
After Ford were forced to can the Phase IV GT-HO program, it had a swag of go-fast goodies left over and put them in a small batch of Falcon GTs under the code of RPO83. Originally painted Calypso Green, as was the hue of one of a handful of Phase IVs built, this is a one-of-one given its range of factory options. This car is one of just 130 sedans fitted with RPO83 parts and naturally it has a 351 front with a four-speed Toploader gearbox and a rebuilt 9-inch LSD. It came with a Ford letter of Authorisation,and ACCHS Report revealing its Option 83 ‘Performance Pack’.

1967 FORD MUSTANG
The star of Steve McQueen’s movie Bullitt, was the Mustang he drove and the epic car chase. This tribute features a 302 V8 sporting GT40 aluminium cylinder heads, a T5 five-speed manual gearbox and 15-inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels. It has been retrofitted with air-con. For a more modern driving experience it has rack-and-pinion steering, front disc brakes and BF Goodrich radials. Inside is the classic wood-rimmed steering wheel and auxiliary gauges.

1985 BMW M635CSI
This E24 Beemer coupe has been in the one family for 40 years. Finished in the rare combo of Bahama beige with buffalo coloured leather, it has been driven only 24,550 miles from new. It was collected by the vendor and his father from the BMW Bavarian plant in 1985 and driven to the UK. It is powered by the legendary M88 3.5lt straight-six 24-valve engine, similar to the donk in the fabled M1, and mated to a Getrag 5-speed gearbox. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF limited-slip diff.

1969 FORD TORINO TALLADEGA
While the Mustang was hogging the muslce-car limelight, Ford quietly slipped another two-door coupe into the mix, the Torino. In very original condition it’s number 10 of 750 made and has a 428ci Cobra Jet V8 and C6 auto trans. It was produced January 22, 1969, a day behind schedule and is finished in Wimbeldon White, a popular Ford hue at the time, with a contrasting black bonnet and black interior. Other goodies include power front discs, power steering and Argent style steel wheels.
1970 PLYMOUTH SUPERBIRD
Here’s a matching-numbers Superbird. It’s one of 308, V-Code birds produced with a 4-speed manual. Giving it sizeable urge is its 440ci 6BBL with Mopar cam, though it retains its original heads. It had a repaint some time ago in lemon twist and the black vinyl roof seems in decent nick. Other features include the optional A33 Track Pak, consisting of power boosted front discs, power steering, while the black interior employs lashings of silver trim.

1962 FORD FALCON XK PANEL VAN
The Ford panel van was seen everywhere in the early 1960s and used for many purposes. For the number sold, not many survive these days but one that has is this rolling work of art. It has been painted by Race Paint Custom Car Studio and complementing its looks is a 302 Windsor V8 under the bonnet, attached to a Stage 2 C4 auto and a Ford 8-3/4 diff to get the power to the ground. It also has customised airbag suspension that’s controlled from the driver’s seat.

2006 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR
Wanna lounge room that flies. Here it is. A twin-turbo 48-valve W12 with 520bhp and 650Nm, powering all four wheels via a Torsen central differential and ZF 6-speed auto. It can do 195mph and 0-60mph in five seconds. This dark green Flying Spur with saddle trim and a forest of timber, recently underwent a A$20,500 major service. It has travelled a shade over 100,000 miles, always serviced and maintained and cherished as part of our vendor’s collection.

1975 FORD XB FALCON 500
An Aussie 1970s time-warp that has been with the one family since new and offered with no reserve. With it came the original books. November 11, 1975, saw Gough Whitlam sacked as Prime Minister, the two-millionth Ford built in Australia roll off the line and this bright orange, XB Falcon 500 delivered to its owners. It has faithfully served as the family truckster for nearly 25 years and always garaged. From 1997 it has been sitting in a shed and has just 132,358km.

1999 MERCEDES-BENZ C43 AMG
Bidding was fierce for this AMG C43, the first AMG model with a V8. The W202 series was the last of the bank vault Benzes, and at a glance it looks like any other C class. Not so, as this Australian-delivered AMG sports a 4.3lt V8 and auto trans. It shows 81,544 klicks and is in excellent fettle throughout. It wears a January 1999 ADR Compliance plate and was first registered in April that year. Finished in classic silver over black trim, it has covered just 10,000km in the past decade.

1987 TOYOTA MR2
Offered with no reserve and freshly discovered after lurking for some time in a barn, is this first-generation MR2. It is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive car with a five-speed manual to get the most out of its 1.6-litre four-pot. A five-owner car, it was first registered in October 1987. While it runs, it needs a decent amount of work after years in storage and it shows just over 81,000 miles on the clock. It went with a folder of invoices and the service book.

1985 JAGUAR XJ-SC V12 CABRIOLET
This Australian-delivered Jag cab shows 185,538km and has been mechanically and cosmetically refurbished, rolling off the Browns Lane factory in the classic Jag combination of red with bone leather upholstery. The previous owner was a member of the Jaguar Driver’s Club of Canberra and kept a detailed logbook recording every trip and mileage from his purchase in 2009 until August 2020. In April 2022 the rear screen in the folding roof was replaced. It sold with a tool kit, full books, and history file.

1987 BMW M3
The M3 is an iconic BMW model and the E30 series was the first. This one is powered by a 2.5-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder that sends power to the rear wheels through its five-speed, dogleg manual gearbox. The odometer currently states 82,445km. Finished in Diamantschwarz Metallic over black trim, this one has been restored and was also featured in Unique Cars a while back.

1972 DATSUN 521 PICKUP
Yes, I know what you are thinking … it’s a Datto 1600 ute. This ’72 model was restored in South Africa and shipped to the UK recently, and was offered with no reserve. It’s somewhat familiar design is complemented with functionality, featuring independent front suspension and a leaf-spring rear. A rare sight in the UK and here, it has a 1500cc engine and column manual shift. Finished in Pastel Blue with black vinyl trim, it did require some work.

1963 CHEVROLET CORVETTE SPLIT WINDOW
The year 1963 saw GM introduce the C2 Corvette, with the coupe having a fastback body and for one year only, a split rear window design. It was equally all-new underneath too. This example in ermine white with red trim has undergone a recent resto to the tune of A$206,000. Power is supplied by a 327ci 340hp V8 attached to a four-speed manual. It has a positraction rear end, power steering, superb-looking aluminium knock-off wheels and redline tyres.

1993 JAGUAR XJ220
JaguarSport built 281 of these XJ220s and this is the 265th. It has a twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 putting out 542 horsepower via a five-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, with a top speed of close to 220mph. This one, with 4492 kilometres on the clock is painted dark grey with a sand leather interior and was given a performance upgrade, including BBS alloys and improved brakes in 2018 by pre-eminent XJ220 specialist Don Law Racing. It is being sold with a parts manual, service book, first aid kit, tool kit in leather case, Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT) certificate, and maintenance invoices.
