Purchased new from Wright Ford in Sydney, this automatic Yellow Ochre XY GT Falcon was driven by its now 88-year-old owner (pictured) down the Hume Highway on a permit, before being first registered in Victoria with the registration plate KTH-281.
Having been stored and not driven since 1973, it received regular engine starts until 12 years ago.
The all-original body still retains the factory paintwork and is remarkably well-preserved, the interior remains in near immaculate condition.
