HT Kingswood looks mostly original with a host of preventative maintenance
Holden’s HT birthed an expansive range of vehicles for every need and desire.
There were sedans, wagons, vans and utes, and of course – the Monaro!
Engine options were equally as varied, with straight-six options ranging from 169ci to 186ci (plus a 130ci for export models). Bent eights were afforded in 253ci, one of two 5.0lts or 350ci displacements.
The listing states this car to be a 1969 HT Kingswood, and reportedly presents very original throughout.
The car is said to be rust free; with front disc brakes, new Weber carburettor, new 18″ mag wheels, electronic fuel pump and fan, electronic ignition conversion, new alternator, new shocks with refurbed rear leafs, new exhaust and refurbished rear brake cylinders.
It looks like a neat package with some useable mechanical upgrades and preventative maintenance. The black vinyl interior looks hard to fault and free of tears and visible wear.
We’d say just track down some period-correct wheels and have yourself a handsome useable cruiser!
The car is based in New South Wales and is listed for $35,000.
