1967 Chevrolet Corvette – today’s tempter

Summer cruiser

The 1967 model was the final fling for the second generation Corvette, and after five years of refinements, was considered the best of the line.

Changes for ’67 included five smaller front guard vents replacing the three larger ones on the 66 model and a single reversing light. Inside was new trim and the handbrake went from under the dash to between the seats.

Here’s a special Corvette and driver at Goodwood.

This right-hand drive, with side exhausts silver pearl Corvette Stingray roadster is a 1967 mid-year version and sports a 5.7-litre V8 with a Muncie four-slotter hanging off the back.

It has new red leather seats, tyres and battery and the soft top is like new, according to the ad.

In the early 2000s it had a body off resto and over the past 17 years the owner hasn’t driven it a great deal and it always lived in the garage.

Asking price is $135,000 and the information is here.
