1965 Ford Mustang limo – today’s tempter

8-seater

Okay, now we’ve seen everything. If you ever fancied a stretched limo or hire car that ‘talked’ to the classic world, here’s your answer.

Based on a 1965 notchback coupe, the car is running a Ford 289 V8 with auto, but there the standard spec seems to end.

Apart from the huge increase in wheelbase, the car has been treated to two extra doors, and all of them are longer than stock. There are now three rows of seats, with the rear set in club style and with seatbelts for six. So it’s licensed as an eight-seater hire car in NSW.

And let’s face it, it’s just about big enough to live in, or take the entire family on a long trip.

We can pretty well guarantee you’ll be the only example at any Mustang show around the country. It’s on the market for $85,000.

We have lots of Mustang stories online – see them here.
