The Pontiac Start Chief is a range of luxury oriented automobiles built by Pontiac between 1954 and 1966.
The fourth generation of the Star Chief was released in 1959 and stayed in production until the end of 1960.
Customers could have their Star Chief in two body styles; a four-door sedan and a two-door hardtop coupe.
This particular Star Chief is a ’59 coupe and it isn’t exactly what you’d call ‘stock as a rock’, in fact it comes with a pretty long list of modifications.
According the seller, the vehicle has excellent mods like a worked 350ci Chevy V8 with a mid-sized cam, Turbo 400 automatic transmission and “bagged” rear suspension.
The seller adds that the vehicle was completely rebuilt approximately five years ago in Las Vegas and comes with full documentation.
