Quirky Brit classic
It’s incredible to think that Morgan’s production of its quirky three-wheelers has survived over 110 years.
While it may not have been in production for anything like the entirety of that time, it nevertheless revived the platform in 2011 after a near-60-year lay-off and then produced a new variant in 2022.
As one owner of a modern example assured us: “The first thing you notice about the Morgan 3-Wheeler is that everyone notices the Morgan 3-Wheeler. We have had hundreds of rubber neckers, thumbs up, toots and waves. Every one of them accompanied by a huge grin. It seems this little car makes not just the driver smile, it makes everyone smile.”
This 1929 example appears to have a reasonably well-recorded history with some high-profile owners along the way. It was restored in the late 1980s and has seen use in numerous events.
Power comes from a liquid-cooled 980cc JAP V-twin and it runs a two-speed transmission.
The Healey Factory in Melbourne has it on the market at $55,000.
