Mark Higgins has wanted a Monaro in his toybox pretty much all his life. Now he's got it

It's funny how an experience in a special car can stay with you for your whole life. For many of us, that can lead to a strong urge to go and find the car that was part of that memory, or the nearest thing you can afford.

For Mark 'Higgo' Higgins, that car was the first Monaro, which his dad brought home all those decades ago. While good examples of the original are now the price of a modest house, the last generation remains reasonably affordable.

So, after a lifetime of waiting, Higgo finally got to realise his dream.
