When HSV said they saved the best till last, they were right. The Holden VN Group A was something else when released in 1990. Being the lowest production bult HSV and even compared to by some to the Ford Falcon XY GTHO. Here is your opportunity to own what could easily be described as the best example of a VN Group A. in existence. Owned personally up until 2018 by the DÁlberto family, owners of the reputable DAlberto Holden dealership in Echuca, Victoria. Initially HSV planned to produce 500 examples, but it is commonly known that only 302 examples were produced. This particular car wears build number 333 as this was the build number of the other three Group A Commodores in the DAbreo collection so therefore HSV honoured this and still allocated this build number to this car. With just over 1800km this car could almost be described as a brand-new car and is totally untouched from front to back. This Group A was never registered and still remains unregistered and comes with its two sets of keysoriginal blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. Built in April of 2016 and purchased from Biti Motors in Culcairn NSW. Finished in beautiful Victory Gold with all the exclusive Sprint extras such as badging, striping, rear spoiler, and original Sprint wheels. Sporting the famous 5.0 litre Coyote Supercharged Ford engine that pumps out 345 kilowatts which is 462 horsepower in standard form and with 400 kilowatts and 535 horsepower with overboost which will slingshot this Sprint from 0-100 in approximately 4.5 seconds and 12.6 in the standing quarter!! Only 750 examples only ever produced in the Sprint model and this car is build number 106. Of the 750 XR8 Sprints made 51 were produced in Victory Gold Metallic. Here is yet another stunning example of a SS Group A Walkinshaw. Once again, this car was originally part delivered to the DAlberto Holden dealership in Echuca Victoria and kept with the DAlberto family as part of their private collection until 2018 which was never registered and still remains unregistered with its original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. In that time the car was only used for maintenance purposes and to this day has only clocked up 1312 kilometres. This car was also allocated build number 333 so that it matched the build numbers of the other Group As already in the collection at the time. Just as you would expect this car is in brand new condition. There are no modifications what so ever and would suit any Commodore or HSV collector. It still retains the original Bridgestone RE71 tyres, original logbook, sales brochure, two sets of original keys and other paraphernalia. There are no signs of wear on the steering wheel, gear knobor handbrake handle. To find another Walkinshaw as good as this one would be near impossible. This Bt1 has been confirmed as a previous NSW Woy Woy Highway Patrol Vehicle- 1992-1993 via NSW Police fleet records (advised by current owner). Was Bravo 208. Original NSW rego was SGE-614. Display plates are included in the sale. Current NSW owner has met both original drivers and has been told some great stories on the history of the car.
