Congratulations to Craig Flavel of Country Victoria, who is the winner of our mighty project HQ

Conceived and put together by those clever folk at Bendigo Muscle Cars, it’s a GTS tribute with a stonking great V8 in the snout, a shiny new Tremec transmission thanks to Mal Wood Automotive, some spectacular interior work by A&H trim and a host of good gear from a long list of folk (see below).

The build, which started off with Gary O’Brien’s former work in particular is quite stunning and a tribute to the talents of the folk from Bendigo.

The best news is Craig is a petrolhead and really will appreciate his new toy. He’s a bit of a Holden nut, with an R8 and a Torana among his toys, while he confesses to having owned a couple of HQs in the past. Not only does he read Unique Cars, but he’s also a fan of sister mag Street Machine.

Meanwhile, we’re getting underway with our next give-away car, based on a Torana. Look for the opening TCM race car, look for updates in upcoming issues Unique Cars magazine.
