Renowned coachbuilder Brian Tanti sets up in Sydney
New facility combines a living workshop and function space
Legendary coachbuilder Brian Tanti, who has undertaken many high-profile projects over the years, has opened up a new workshop in Artarmon, Sydney.
Predictably called Brian Tanti’s Workshop, it lays claim to being a fully functioning workshop, featuring a sleek and modern function-room space including a bar, as well as a lounge facility to accommodate corporate events, functions, and private dinners.
Tanti and his workshop are known for their combination of high-end digital capabilities, in addition to far more traditional hands-on methods. Over the years Tanti has undertaken some spectacular projects, including restorations and one-off builds of legendary cars such as a Ferrari 250GT and a gullwing Benz

According to Tanti (below), "The workshop and design studio are currently home to several state-of-the-art projects, including FR1, Australia’s first composite passenger vehicle. A contrast of old and new, the workshop incorporates 3D printing capabilities, digital scanning, and other new-to-industry technology as they apply to a modern workshop facility."
