Italian Auto Icons Display

Lygon St, Carlton - Sunday 1st March, 2015

This year's Italian Auto Icons display will be held from 9.00am - 3.00pm on Sunday 1st March, on a closed-off section of Lygon Street, between Elgin and Faraday Streets (see map below).

The display will include 55 current, classic and rare models from six Italian car clubs - Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Fiat, Lamborghini, Lancia and Maserati - as well as a range of new and old Ducati motorcycles and Vespa scooters.

New models from each of the five Italian brands distributed by Zagame Automotive will be on display, with six special featured cars including an Alfa Romeo 4C and 8C, Lancia Stratos and a 1957 Lancia Prototype 'APPIA Zagato'.

The event is free and open to the public.

Your chance to WIN an Alfa Romeo!

This year, the Italian Auto Icons (IAI) has formed an affiliation with the Murdochs Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) to assist in its children's research fundraising activities. With the support of Fiat Australia and Zagame Automotive, a new Alfa Romeo Giulietta Progression has been donated as first prize in a raffle to be drawn the day after the event. The Giulietta is currently on display in the Lygon Court shopping centre.

Second prize will be a Vespa 125 Primavera from Vespa Australia and three more prizes have been donated by IAI partners and sponsors.

All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to support Australia's leading paediatric research organisation, Murdoch Childrens Research Institute.
